The Q50 R Carbon is a lightweight, travel-focused power wheelchair with a carbon-fibre frame that naturally flexes over uneven surfaces for a smooth, shock-absorbing ride, while still supporting a maximum user weight of up to 136 kg. At just 14.5 kg (without battery), it folds compactly in two simple steps – flip the rear clip and push the backrest down – without ever removing the removable, IATA-approved 1.4 kg Lithium-Ion battery.

Standard 10Ah battery provides up to 12 km of range, extendable to 24 km with an optional second battery, and the chair can be charged while still folded via the controller socket. A small 800 mm turning radius and narrow 570 mm width make it well suited to indoor manoeuvring, while flip-up armrests and a centre-mount footrest allow easy side or standing transfers.

Reliable 250 W brushless motors from Linix and a Curtiss-Wright nVR2 BLDC controller deliver consistent everyday performance, including climbing obstacles up to 40 mm, and the chair is available in five eye-catching accent colours.
