The Invacare Action4 NG builds on the proven Action family platform with a weight reduction of nearly 1 kg versus the previous model, thanks to a new lightweight aluminium castor housing and rearwheel attachment. A double cross-brace system gives the chair a more stable, easier drive, while remaining fully cross-compatible with other members of the Action family for cost-effective fleet management.

A patented, stepless angle-adjustable backrest with a folding function – carried over from the Invacare Action5 – allows fine-tuning of the backrest angle while seated, and folds flat on the seat for compact storage or transport. Flip-back armrests with a release lever and open transfer zone, an oversized backrest cover, and a height-adjustable lumbar strap round out the comfort features.

A wide range of options is available, including length-compensating elevating legrests, mechanical or gas-spring reclining backrests, head and neck rest options, Invacare Matrx seating, dual handrim propelling wheels for hemiplegic users, and a choice of front castor sizes.
