The QUICKIE Xenon2 series is built from premium, heat-treated aerospace-grade aluminium using Sunrise Medical’s ShapeLoc Technology, producing an active folding wheelchair that starts from just 8.8 kg. A minimalistic, barely-visible cross-brace and redesigned axle stem give it the stiff, stable feel of a rigid-frame chair while retaining full folding portability. Three models let users choose the balance of weight, rigidity and portability that suits them best: the Xenon2 FF is the lightest option with an open fixed front frame, the Xenon2 Hybrid adds a reinforced fixed front frame and a higher 140 kg weight capacity for maximum rigidity, and the Xenon2 SA offers swing-away footrests with the most compact folded dimensions for easy transport by car. The axle stem allows easy height adjustment and repositioning of the centre of gravity to fine-tune the chair’s driving character from passive to active, and every model is crash tested and available in 32 frame colours with a choice of anodised castor and fork finishes.
